Manage the server certificates

How to manage server certificates in Unisphere, including uploading, generating, and replacing certificates, allowing users to learn about certificate management options and procedures.

Steps

  1. Select Settings icon to open the Settings panel.
  2. Select Security > Server Certificates.
  3. Select one of the following:
    • Upload Certificate (Dell Recommended)- Upload a Root CA certificate, an intermediate CA certificate, and CA Reply. Click Restart Unisphere Server (the Unisphere server must be restarted in order to reflect the new certificates).
    • Generate Certificate Signing Request (CSR) (Dell Recommended)- Enter values for Common Name (CN), Subject Alternative Names (comma-separated IP or DNS names), Organization, Organization Unit, Location, State, and Country. Click Download CSR
    • Replace with Self-Signed Certificate- Enter values for Common Name (CN), Subject Alternative Names (comma-separated IP or DNS names), Organization, Organization Unit, Location, State, and Country. Click Replace with Self-Signed Certificate
    • Download Server Certificate Chain-Click Download Server Certificate Chain
  4. Click Close.
